In an effort to simplify the entries this year, we are offering online entries as well as phone entries for the rodeo. Please call 307-630-4821 if you wish to enter by phone.
There will be up to 30 contestants accepted for the performance in Saddle Bronc Riding. We are accepting 15 stock contractors entering 3 horses each. Two horses for the long round must be 4 or 5 years old. The short go horse may be 6 years old or younger. One Half of the cowboys will come back for the short go on fresh horses.
Western attire is mandatory for all contestants and anyone behind the chutes.
Entry comes with one guest admission to the rodeo. Additional guest passes may be purchased for $10 each by entering the code BRONC at checkout.
Draw will be posted online at www.frozenfuryrodeo.com (click through to this page via the contestant entry button) and on Hell on Wheels Facebook Page.
Pre-payment is required. (Venmo or credit card with processing fee are accepted)
There will be $4000 added money each to the contestants and to the stock contractors. This futurity is a 100% payout to contractors and contestants. Estimated payout if full is 5 places in stock contractor competition and 6 places in the bronc riders competition. $500 will be awarded to the bronc rider with the highest marked ride in the long round.
The winning stock contractor and contestant will receive a championship buckle from Usher Brand Silver. Reserve Champion will win an STS jacket.
Official Rodeo Photographer will be Crystal Dotzler from Crystal Kodak Moments.
All contestants MUST check in with the rodeo secretary before their event. Failure to check in will result in you being turned out and forfeiture of your entry fees.
Frozen Fury on the Plains Release form MUST be signed and turned into the rodeo secretary before participating. Contestants under the age of 18 MUST have a release signed by a legal guardian. Download to print here: Frozen Fury Release (pdf)
Winners of over $600 must complete a W9 form before your check will be issued. You can download one here.
The Best Western Plus, Frontier Inn (5 minute drive from the Event Center) has offered a special discount for this event. Call them at 307-638-8891 and ask for the Archer Event Center Discount.
After 30 contestants have registered, you many join the waitlist as an alternate.
There are no turnouts for this event. You may sell your entry to someone else if you cannot make it to the event.
